The staff at the Cedros Health Centre hosted a health fair for persons in the Cedros community on May 25th, 2018. The day’s proceedings started with an exercise session with Mr. Collins and a demonstration from Mr. Paul Pargoo from the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Siparia District Health Facility will be closed on Friday 8th June, 2018 from 6:00pm. Services will resume on Monday 11th June, 2018 at 8:00 am. This is to accommodate spraying of the facility.
Primary Health Care Services can be accessed at the Fyzabad and Penal Health Centres: Saturday from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Wednesday 30th May, 2018 marks the 173rd anniversary of the arrival of our East Indian ancestors to our beautiful island. Let us take this time to commemorate their achievement of landing on our shores and remember to reflect on the journey to their destination.
As they embarked on a voyage towards a better future, they encountered various obstacles and endured harsh conditions on the way. However, with steady perseverance, absolute determination and unwavering hope for an improved quality of life, they were able to enter into a new world, filled with limitless opportunities.
