Temporary Closure of Fyzabad Health Centre

Please be advised that healthcare services at the Fyzabad Health Centre will be temporarily suspended on Thursday 18th July, 2019 in order to facilitate cleaning works at the facility. During this time, clients can access healthcare services at the South Oropouche Health Centre.

Temporary Closure of Fyzabad Health Centre

Please be advised that healthcare services at the Fyzabad Health Centre will be temporarily suspended on Thursday 18th July, 2019 in order to facilitate cleaning works at the facility. During this time, clients can access healthcare services at the South Oropouche Health Centre.

The South-West Regional Health Authority apologises for any inconvenience caused.  

The Couva District Health Facility will be closed on Friday 20^th July, 2018 from 2:00pm. Services will resume on Sunday 22^nd July, 2018 at 10:00 pm. This is accommodate spraying of the facility.

Primary Health Care Services can be accessed at the Freeport Health Centre:

• Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Saturday from 8:00am – 12:00 noon

24-hr Emergency Medical Services can be accessed at the San Fernando General Hospital.

The Ambulance Bay entrance at the Area Hospital Point Fortin will be temporarily closed for refurbishment works from Monday 9th to Friday 20th July, 2018. Kindly follow the directional signs to the temporary entrance.

Any inconvenience is regretted but this is to facilitate the construction of a canopy over the ambulance bay to provide a safer transition for non-ambulant patients.
