Closure of Cedros Health Centre

Kindly note that the Cedros Health Centre will be closed from 11.30 a.m. today, Friday 14th September, 2018. This is due to the unavailability of water supply at the Health Centre.

The South-West Regional Health Authority apologises for any inconvenience caused.​

International Housekeeping Week annually recognises persons who daily maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment in facilities across the globe. It is celebrated from September 9th to 15th. In keeping with Housekeeping Week celebrations the Wardsmaids Department will be celebrating Wardsmaids Month with a group of activities raising awareness about and recognising the dedicated Wardsmaids throughout the South-West Regional Health Authority. Come out and support the Wardsmaids.
Temporary Closure of Freeport Health Centre

The Freeport Health Centre will be temporarily closed on Wednesday 12th September, 2018, in order to facilitate electrical repairs at the facility.

Healthcare services will resume on Thursday 13th September, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.

Physiotherapy month is annually celebrated in September. It raises awareness of the importance of physiotherapy and the integral role of physiotherapists in keeping persons well, mobile and independent. The theme for this year’s World Physical Therapy Day, which was recognised on September 8th, is “Physiotherapy for Mental Health”. It highlights the role physiotherapy plays in the management of individuals with mental health disorders through special techniques and exercise programs.
