Medical and Surgical OPC celebrate Christmas

Approximately 150 parents and children gathered on RC Level, San Fernando Teaching Hospital on December 21st for the 8th annual Medical and Surgical Outpatient Clinic Christmas Party for the paediatric clients attending Outpatient Clinics. “This party grew from love. Children often see the nurses and doctors as persons who inflict pain. In order to bring love to the children and show them the love doctors and nurses have for them… we decided to have a Christmas treat for the children who visit the clinics,” said founder, Ms. Paula Quamina-Richardson, Registered Nurse.

Penal Health Centre promotes HIV/AIDS Awareness

The Staff at the Penal Health Centre will continue to observe World AIDS Day by raising awareness about HIV/AIDS. The Public is invited to attend the open day on Thursday 22nd December, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Persons will have access to free HIV screening, consultation and HIV/AIDS education sessions which include: Lectures and Videos on HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).
