In commemoration of World Health Day on April 7, 2022, the SWRHA hosted a Health Fair at the Southern Academy of Performing Arts (SAPA), from 9 am to 2 pm. The Health Fair exposed participants to screening and counselling services inclusive of, Blood Pressure testing, BMI testing, Diabetes and General Health Counselling, Cervical, Prostate and HIV Screening. Additionally, access to the Influenza shots and the COVID-19 vaccine were available. The SWRHA thanks members of the public and our staff for their participation and support.

In celebration of World Health Day, the staff of the Lengua Health Centre hosted a World Health Day fair on Wednesday 6th April, 2016. This programme, steered by Ms. Salima Ali, District Health Visitor, and Ms. Ameeda Hasmath, District Nurse, administered a holistic approach to the event.
