The Honourable Terrence Deyalsingh, Minister of Health and the Honourable Faris Al-Rawi, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, visited the Blood Bank and Oncology Department at the San Fernando General Hospital on Wednesday 11th May 2022.

They were joined by Ministry of Health staff, as well as members of the SWRHA’s Board of Directors and Executive Management team.

Early Closure of SAPA Vaccination Site

The public is advised of the early closure of the SAPA Mass Vaccination Site on Thursday 12th May, 2022 at 1.00 pm, due to maintenance works at the Academy.

Vaccination will resume at the site on Friday 13th May at 8.00 am.

The South-West Regional Health Authority apologises for any inconvenience caused.

SWRHA celebrates Nurses Appreciation Week 2022

On Monday May 9th, 2022, the SWRHA launched a week of activities, with an Interfaith Service at the San Fernando Teaching Hospital. From May 9th to 13th, Trinidad and Tobago celebrates International Nurses Week (INW) 2022, honouring the dedication in service of our valued Nursing administration staff. The theme of INW is “Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Invest in Nursing and respect rights to secure global health.”
