The San Fernando General Hospital is located in the City of San Fernando and it is considered as the main trauma unit for the Southern region of Trinidad. The hospital provides its patients with many necessary services, some of which are rarely available in other regions and RHAs of the country.

The main hospital compound has recently been extended to include the newly outfitted San Fernando Teaching Hospital. At the San Fernando Teaching Hospital (SFTH), Chancery Lane, we understand how important quality health care is to you and your family. We at the SWRHA have been serving the community for more than 50 years, and we are committed to providing our patients and visitors with the highest quality of services both within the hospital setting and online.

The SFTH Chancery Lane consists of approximately 468,000 square feet of interior space and is conveniently located within walking distance from the main shopping centre on High Street in San Fernando, with the main Bus Station, Water Taxi, Taxi and Maxi Taxi terminals in close proximity. The Main Entrance to the SFTH is located on the Chancery Lane Main Drive on Levels 3 and 4 of the Hospital Campus. The SFTH houses some of the outpatient clinic, diagnostic, pharmacy services and the adult medical and paediatrics wards.
