The South-West Regional Health Authority joins the international community in recognising International Women’s Day, observed on March 8 of every year, to celebrate the empowerment of women around the world. This year, the Campaign’s theme is “Pledge for Parity”. This occasion marks a call to action to accelerate gender parity across the globe. It offers an opportunity to regard the accomplishments of women in the present, and focus on the untapped potential and opportunities that await women in the future.
