Picnic at La Vega Estate

The staff and residents of the Extended Care Centre, Couva will be spending the day at the La Vega Estate Facilities, Gran Couva where they will host a picnic on July 13th, 2016.

This outdoor activity will provide an opportunity for residents to re-orient themselves with the external environment and will promote social interaction among residents, families and caregivers. This picnic will also encourage physical activity and promote cognitive functioning as a well as foster family support and involvement in the care of residents.
