Cardiology Department celebrates World Heart Month

In keeping with the theme of this year’s World Heart Month “Controlling Hypertension Preventing Heart Disease”, the Department of Cardiology will be commemorating World Heart Month with an Outreach Programme on Thursday June 30th, 2016 at 9:00 am. Maternal and Child Health Care Area on Level 4 San Fernando Teaching Hospital. Come out and support the Cardiology Department and learn more about keeping a healthy heart, controlling hypertension and ways to prevent heart disease. Staff will conduct lectures, blood pressure screenings and educational material will be available at information booths.
