The following letter was published today in the Daily Express Newspaper, praising the staff at Area Hospital Point Fortin. Kindly read the following and join us in congratulating them, as they continue to provide quality healthcare.
Kudos to hospital staff
I WOULD like to begin by commending the nursing staff at Ward A of the Point Fortin Area Hospital who diligently executed their duties during my stay there.
I must admit I never stayed more than 12 hours at any hospital, and the thought of an extended stay terrified me. During my six-day stay I must say it was pleasant. Very often I was visited by nurses asking how my night was, if I had any complaints, and generally if I was comfortable.
I must also say a heartfelt thank-you to Dr Stephanie, who insisted I would leave the hospital when she was satisfied I was in good health. Her dedication and intelligence were extraordinary and she is great asset to Point Fortin and, by extension, Trinidad and Tobago.
I wish to encourage the medical staff as well as maintenance workers, cooks, and sanitation personnel at the hospital to continue the great work and the continuous upkeep of a very old, but yet effective, medical institutiom.
God’s blessings to all!
