Ten (10) RN`s from different wards within the hospital took part in the 7th ICU in house training programme which took place during the period September 26th to December 7th 2018-(10 weeks). The programme was used as a tool to better equip the nurses in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU) to enhance the quality of service given to the patients under their care.

Programme coordinators Mrs Louanne Peter- Knights and Mrs. Virgina Scanterbury-Maloney and Other facilitator were ICU Supervisor PCC Mrs. Arlene Wright Gittens and Sandra Ramkissoon-Bholai. Upon completion nurses would return to their respected wards where they would transfer the knowledge to their colleagues.
