Temporary Relocation of Psychiatric/Mental Health In-patient Services The South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) advises members of the public, that effective Monday May 16, 2022, in-patient psychiatric/mental health services for persons residing within the south-western region will be provided at the St. Ann’s Hospital. Additionally, all in-patients currently housed at the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH) will be transferred this week to the St. Ann’s Hospital.

The South-West Regional Health Authority wishes to update the public following the collapse of the ceiling at the Burns Unit at the San Fernando General Hospital. The Burns’ Unit ceiling was assessed on the morning of March 10th, 2018 by our Property Services Department.
