On Wednesday 12th October 2016, the health care professionals at the Princes Town Primary Health Care Department conducted health education lectures on Breast and Cervical Cancer for patients of the community. This was done in support of the Cancer Awareness month “October”. Approximately fifty (50) antenatal and chronic disease clients attended. Women were encouraged to perform self-breast examinations and made aware of what abnormal changes looked like, so that they could notify their doctor and seek treatment early.
